Spirituality, in the simplest of terms, means being the best that you can be. Wouldn't you rather be happier and healthier than you could ever imagine? Of course you do!
So, what is this thing called 'spirituality' that everyone talks about? In my opinion, it is the understanding that everyone and everything is connected in a wonderful and divine way.
Enhancing your spirituality can help you move forward in your life, raise your consciousness and personal vibration, and connect to a Higher Power that may or may not be rooted in religion, nature, or the planets.
Here are some more reasons to spend just a couple of minutes each day to enhance your spirituality:
It gives you a sense of purpose.
Allows you to feel passionate about what you are doing.
Helps you to maintain a positive attitude.
Allows you to experience better health and well-being.

10 Tips to Enhance Your Spirituality
(in just 10 minutes per day or less!)
1. Sit quietly for 10 minutes per day.
Harvard did a study that found that if you sit quietly for just 10 minutes a day, you will be happier. If it is good enough for Harvard, it is good enough for me! Schedule it into your day. It will do you so much good.
2. Give thanks.
Recognize that you have a spiritual team with you at all times. Thank them for being there. Every morning and every night and throughout the day, give thanks. Expand the gratitude to include those you appreciate in your life.
3. Ask for help.
Connect with your spiritual team and ask for guidance and help. Doing this each morning, each night, and throughout the day along with giving thanks will help you learn how to release burdens and TRUST that you are not alone. Your spiritual team cannot do anything to help you unless you ask them. They love to help you! That is their job. All they want in return is thanks. Refer to Tip #2.
4. Keep a journal.
In less than 10 minutes per day, you can keep a record of your feelings, what you are grateful for (gratitude journal), your wishes and goals, your dreams (dream journal), or any channeled information that might come through while you are are sitting quietly each day as suggested in Tip #1. Some people blog. This is a great way to work out a problem or check in with yourself to see how much you have grown in your life.
5. Practice random acts of kindness.
Be gracious, compassionate, and listen. Let people in when driving on the freeway. You never know when you are a walking angel for someone else. Practicing random acts of kindness opens the heart and your spiritual connection in numerous ways.
6. Make gratitude calls.
Lisa Marie Platske, an excellent motivational speaker, makes 3-5 gratitude calls per day. Thanking someone personally for being a client, customer, or friend can make a world of difference. She also makes forgiveness calls if she feels unsettled about something with someone. If her cause for concern is unfounded, she turns it into a gratitude call. Win/win!
7. Ask for a sign.
